About the Venue
Edgewood Farm is an exclusive upscale event and wedding venue located on 28 beautiful rolling acres along the shores of Lake Hartwell in Townville, SC. The property consists of a custom crafted hemlock barn which accommodates 250 people with 5800 sq ft of heated and cooled space and 2112 sq ft of porch and patio area. The property offers stunning views and ample room to spread out. In addition to the event space, there are two custom cottages for rent, built with the bride and groom in mind, an amphitheater that seats approximately 200 with power outlets, an intimate custom chapel at the waterfront which seats approximately 60 people and beautiful walking trails winding throughout the property and along the waterfront. Great care was taken in the landscape design throughout with beautiful accents complimenting all corners of the property.
The barn is a barn on the exterior only. Upon arrival you will drive up to a stunning portico allowing you to drop off and pick up out of the elements. Inside you will find polished concrete floors, 6 foot tall crystal chandeliers mounted from 32 foot tall natural stained ceilings with exposed rafters, marble accents, and high end fixtures everywhere you look. The staircase features beautiful cherry floors cut and milled from right here on the property. The main staircase has hand-crafted wrought iron railings and this design continues along the second floor balcony which overlooks the reception hall. Inside you will find a beautiful bridal suite with private powder room, grooms suite, and prep kitchen. The reception hall includes a custom built in bar with private access door for catering and bar staff. Outside the barn you will find a beautiful covered porch stretching 72 feet along the length of the building. This area features stamped and stained concrete floors, natural finished wood ceilings with ceiling fans, hemlock columns wrapped in stone. This covered porch then continues around the back of the barn offering another patio area with hemlock columns and stunning sunset views.
